The Northfield is a 69-unit apartment complex for senior adults. The Northfield is fully licensed by the New York State Department of Health as an Enriched Housing Program, and offers the following fully-inclusive services to all residents.

The Northfield is operated by Family Service of Rochester in cooperation with the
Fairport Baptist Home Care Ministries
The Northfield is a licensed NYS Enriched Housing Facility, located on the campus of the
Fairport Baptist Home, 4560 Nine Mile Point Road in the Town of Perinton, NY. Built in cooperation between Family Service of Rochester, Inc., and the Fairport Baptist Home Caring Ministries, The Northfield offers:
- One bedroom apartments with rents and all inclusive program fees between $3,270-$3,450 per month, depending on the size of the apartment
- Two bedroom apartments with rents and all inclusive program fees -
$3,645 per month
Each apartment includes a living room, dining area, full bathroom, and full kitchen. Common areas include lounges, a central dining area, recreation areas, a hairdresser's salon, outdoor walking areas, and plenty of parking. Small pets are welcome!
You can reserve an apartment by submitting an application, completing an informational
interview with our staff, and submitting a $100 refundable deposit. Family members are encouraged to attend the informational interview.

Family Service Communities has had more than 25 years of experience operating State Licensed Enriched Housing programs. We have serviced our community since 1911, and have been fully accredited since 1982. Family Service Communities currently operates 86 residential units in the City of Rochester for seniors with limited incomes.
 The Northfield is a non-sectarian facility. However, our services are enhanced by our affiliation with the Fairport Baptist Home Caring Ministries, which provides food, laundry and maintenance services. The Fairport Baptist Home operates a 196-bed nursing home, as well as the 42-unit DeLand Acres, which is comprised of one-story apartments for middle income seniors able to live independently. Northfield residents benefit from our referral relationship with all of the services of the Fairport Baptist Home Caring Ministries.
